Grief and Loss
Grief and loss are natural human experiences arising from the death of a loved one, followed with a period of mourning. It encompasses the emotional, physical, and social responses to loss and can significantly affect an individual's well-being.
Trauma and PTSD
Trauma is a response to a deeply distressing or disturbing event/events, often resulting in long-lasting psychological effects.
Depression
A condition affecting how a person feels, thinks, and handles daily activities. More than feeling sad or having a bad day—it is a persistent and often overwhelming state of sadness, hopelessness, and disinterest in life.
Anxiety
A natural human response to stress or perceived danger, often characterized by feelings of worry, nervousness, or fear. While occasional anxiety is a normal part of life, excessive and persistent anxiety can interfere with daily activities and may develop into an anxiety disorder.
Adjustment Conditions
Responses to stressful life events or changes which are stronger or more intense than we may typically expect. Adjustment disorders arise in response to a specific stressor, such as a major life transition or crisis. While adjustment disorders are temporary, they can significantly disrupt daily functioning.

Healthy self-esteem, involves a positive, balanced view of ourselves. Low self-esteem occurs when we have a negative view of ourselves, often feeling inadequate, unworthy, or incapable. Struggles with self-esteem can deeply impact our mental health, relationships, and life satisfaction.
